Importing Your Djay Pro Library

Lexicon has direct integration into the Djay Pro database, on macOS and Windows.

Importing is easy, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure Djay Pro is closed
  2. Open Lexicon
  3. Go to the Sync page and then click Import tracks & playlists, or use File ➡ Import from… in the top menu bar
  4. Select Djay Pro
  5. Leave the other settings at their default
  6. Click Start importing
  7. Start using Lexicon!

Cues and loops

Your Djay cue points keep their position. Saved loops from Djay are added after your cues, so they may end up in a different order than in Djay. To put them in the order you want, use the Sort cues recipe (for example Cues first then loops), see Recipes.

"No tracks found in Djay Pro database"

Lexicon reads the Djay library in your Music/djay folder (djay Media Library). This message means that library has no tracks. Check that:

  • Djay Pro has been opened on this computer and your tracks are in its library
  • your music is added to Djay's own library, for example with My Files in the Djay sidebar
  • Djay Pro is fully closed before you import

If you see "No Djay Pro database found", Lexicon can't find a Djay library in your Music folder at all. Open Djay Pro once so it creates its library, then try again.
