Structure your folders & files

Developing a clear folder structure on your hard drive makes backups and organisation easier. Organise your music into logical folders (for example Genre ➡ Artist ➡ Track) and ensure that high-quality files are kept while low-quality versions are removed. Lexicon's auto move & rename function can help: when you mark incoming tracks as done the application can move files into sub-folders based on patterns such as genre or BPM. You can even rename files automatically using Subfolder Patterns like %artist% - %title%. You can set that up in the settings on the Incoming page.
