Smart Fixes
As your library grows, inconsistent titles, casing or genres can make it hard to find the right track. Lexicon includes Smart Fixes, a set of batch corrections that tidy up your metadata automatically. For example, the Fix Casing smart fix converts text that is in all uppercase or all lowercase to Proper Case. Other fixes remove unwanted prefixes, strip URLs, fix encoded characters, extract remixers and more. Running Smart Fixes before using tools like the Find Duplicates utility or Track Matcher makes sure your titles and artists are consistent and will improve the results.
Genre Cleanup
Another helpful tool is Genre Cleanup. It scans your library for every unique genre so you can rename and consolidate them. You can lock genres you don't want to change and import cleaned up genres into your tags. Combining Smart Fixes with Genre Cleanup gives you a clean and well-organised library, making searching and playlist creation much easier.
You can use Artist Cleanup in a similar fashion to consolidate all your artists.
