Step-by-step: Manage and prepare your tracks
Add your music: Drag and drop files directly into Lexicon, import an existing library from your DJ app.
Cue and grid each track: For every track, set or adjust the beatgrid (use Edit Grid), add cue points and maybe an emergency active loop.
Add Custom Tags: In your Custom Tag categories like Mood or Genre, create Custom Tags, and assign them to your tracks.
Create playlists and smartlists: Create a new playlist and drag tracks into it. To build a smartlist, right-click and choose New smartlist, then add rules such as BPM range or tags. Smartlists will auto-update when new tracks meet the criteria.
Cleanup: Run the Smart Fixes and Genre/Artist Cleanup. These can't hurt and it's good to check once in a while to see if your library is tidy.
