To make sure your tracks in Djay Pro on macOS appear on your iPhone or iPad, you have to go through an extra step before syncing.
The following worked in our testing but your milage may vary.
The important extra step is to drag your tracks into Djay Pro before syncing. That way Djay creates the tracks in it's database instead of Lexicon. Djay makes sure the tracks work with iCloud so they appear on your iPhone/iPad.
Here are the exact steps:
- Use Lexicon like you always would
- Drag your tracks into Djay. You can do this right from Finder or to make it easier, enable the
Drag out of Lexicon
setting so you can drag tracks straight from your playlists into Djay. - Only after the tracks are already in Djay (but empty without cues etc), you should run the Sync.
- During the sync, Lexicon updates the tracks in Djay with your cues and everything.
After that, your tracks should appear on your iPhone/iPad like they normally would. Of course, it works with iCloud so that has to be enabled.
